Welcome to Kitsune ("the App"), a word tile game developed by Serpent Scripts ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

We are committed to protecting the privacy of all users, including children. This App may be used by children under the age of 13, and we comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Google Play's Families Policy.

Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

When you sign in using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In, we receive basic profile information from those services, which may include:

• Your display name
• Your email address
• A profile photo (if provided by the sign-in provider)
• A unique user ID from the sign-in provider

2.2 Game Data

We collect and store game-related data necessary to provide the App's features, including:

• Game scores and match history
• Leaderboard rankings
• In-game achievements and statistics

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

We may automatically collect certain technical information when you use the App, including:

• Device type and operating system version
• App version and crash reports
• General usage analytics (e.g., features used, session duration)

2.4 Information We Do NOT Collect

• Precise geolocation data
• Financial or payment information
• Contacts or address book data
• Photos, microphone, or camera data

Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

We take children's privacy seriously. If a user is under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in their country):

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
• Sign-in via Google or Apple requires users to meet the minimum age requirements set by those platforms.
• Leaderboard entries for child accounts display only a username — never a full name or email address.
• Currently, the App contains no advertising. When advertising is introduced, we will only display ads from Google Play certified ad networks (such as Google AdMob) appropriate for children and compliant with COPPA and GDPR.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Display your name and score on leaderboards
• Save and sync your game progress
• Improve app performance and fix bugs
• Respond to support requests
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

5.1 Google Sign-In

If you sign in with Google, your use of Google Sign-In is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We only receive the profile information described in Section 2.1.

5.2 Apple Sign-In

If you sign in with Apple, your use is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. Apple's "Hide My Email" feature is supported and respected.

5.3 Google AdMob (Future)

We plan to introduce banner advertisements served by Google AdMob. When implemented, AdMob may collect certain data as described in Google's Privacy Policy. All ads will be appropriate for all audiences and compliant with COPPA, GDPR, and Google Play's Families Policy. This Privacy Policy will be updated before ads are enabled.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data using commercially acceptable means, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain your account and game data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App's services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the address in Section 11.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction — Request that we correct inaccurate data
• Deletion — Request that we delete your data
• Portability — Request a machine-readable copy of your data
• Objection — Object to certain types of data processing

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 11. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the GDPR. Our legal bases for processing your personal data include:

• Contract performance — To provide the App's services to you
